Fear not, for I have experienced the same predicament. Determined not to give up, I embarked on a challenging journey, spending (two) hours battling the rare bear. Time to get ready to save yourself and fight all the rare bears!
Here is a guide on how to overcome the swarm of rare bears within the bear dungeon!
1. Stock up on Food Items: Fuel for the Fight!
If you, just like me, weren’t ready to take on those wild bears, don’t panic! There’s a way out of this hairy situation. After every run-in with a rare bear, move fast by hitting that “esc” key or rushing your character to a cozy corner from the bears’ reach. Once you’re safe and sound, and probably still stuck, treat your team to a feast on whatever items you have saved, loading them up with a variety of food items like popcorn, jam packets, life jam, or whatever it is you have stored. Ensure that Hero’s Juice (MP) is well-stocked, as it will prove invaluable for emergency healing purposes.
2. Strategy: Sad Bears and Angry Allies, a Recipe for Success!
To emerge victorious from the bear dungeon, it is crucial to employ a strategic approach. Referencing the game’s emotion chart, the SAFEST course of action is to keep the rare bears sad while maintaining an angry disposition for your team. This combination minimizes HP damage inflicted by the bears, ensuring your survival. Although having a happy rare bear with a sad team is also passable, be aware that the battle may take longer, as the team’s overall damage output is much less effective. In any case, avoid engaging with angry rare bears, as they pose a greater threat with greater chances of launching devastating attacks that could wipe you out in an instant. Stay sharp and stay alive!
3. Rewards: Bragging Rights and Loot!
Upon vanquishing all the rare bears within the dungeon, you will be rewarded not only with a sense of accomplishment but also with a bountiful collection of watermelons. Interacting with these watermelons grants you access to various items that can aid you in your future endeavors. Sadly, there won’t be any game achievement for doing this incredible feat. Nevertheless, the bragging rights you gain from conquering the bear dungeon make for a compelling tale to share with friends.
In my quest to avoid the dreaded “load last save” ordeal and save precious time, I made a daring decision: to confront each and every rare bear, even though I had no idea what awaited me. And let me tell you, time-saving was far from the reality. Instead, I found myself locked in intense battles for nearly two hours (with some well-deserved breaks in between, of course). There were no fancy achievements or elusive super rare items to be found, I must confess. However, the sense of accomplishment that comes with conquering the bear dungeon is great, it’s a bragging right! It becomes a captivating tale that will mesmerize and entertain your friends as you regale them with your unexpected journey and the epic battle against a horde of Rare Bears!
