Herika will also make random comments about her environment or conversations she overheard without requiring player interaction.
The mod also offers an exciting feature that allows you to give Herika a voice using Text-to-Speech (TTS) services. Currently, there are three options available: Azure is the option that falls in the middle range in terms of pricing, offering multilingual support and decent voice quality. Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is Priced similarly to Azure, it provides okay voice quality, with plans to introduce more and higher-quality voices in the future. Mimic3 completely free and works offline, but it does come with a trade-off of lower voice quality. However, it’s automatically included with DwemerDistro.
Additionally, there’s an option from Elevenlabs, which allows you to create custom voices for Herika, even giving her the voice of Dagoth Ur if desired. While this option comes with a cost, it offers exceptional voice quality for a truly unique experience.
